PCM's Youth Media program offers workshops in Video Production, Digital Storytelling, Animation and Media Literacy to young people ages 8-18. We also offer custom programming to schools, community groups and non-profit organizations.
In addition to our summer camps, we offer youth classes every quarter. Current offerings include:
- iPad Filmmaking: Anyone can make a film with PCM’s awesome iPad filmmaking kits, which come with mics, a light, lenses and a monopod, so that young filmmakers can learn how to make whatever they want--and get great results. This class is for ages 11-13.
- iPad Animation: Let your imagination run wild as you learn how to make your own cartoons with PCM’s iPad animation kits! Students can learn claymation, stop-motion and more. This class is for ages 8-10.
- Media Education workshops in filmmaking, animation, editing, and more are now offered to students ages 16+.
