PCM's Youth Media program offers workshops in Video Production, Digital Storytelling, Animation and Media Literacy to young people ages 8-18. We also offer custom programming to schools, community groups and non-profit organizations.
In addition to our summer camps, we offer youth classes every quarter. Register for our upcoming youth workshops via Eventbrite.
Are you interested in 3-D printing, virtual reality, animation or digital media?
Apply for this after-school program! We'll be taking applications starting next fall.
Portland Community Media (PCM) and the Hollywood Theatre are proud to present a new artists’ residency program for teens who want to create new media art. No experience required!
You’ll get to explore new trends in digital media in classes taught by experienced artists. Past Echo AiR students have taken a stance on important issues with arts activist Moreshin Allahyari, coded exciting visual art pieces with Jeremy Rotsztain and more.
Students meet every and from at Wacom Experience Center (1455 NW Irving). Mondays, you’ll learn new techniques from guest artists, and Thursdays, you’ll get to work on projects of your own, using PCM’s cutting-edge equipment.
At the end of the program, you’ll present your projects to the public with a massive group show!
Cost is $100 (sliding scale).
