Broadband Town Hall Meetings
Posted Sept. 17, 2010
One Economy will host a series of public meetings (town halls) with local residents and community leaders in twenty different locations throughout Oregon. The town hall interactive format provides for direct community input ranging from how residents access and use the Internet to identifying the barriers to bringing Internet resources to their community.
The results of the town hall meetings, along with a statewide survey, will help to form the basis for Broadband policy in Oregon in the next few years.
Town hall meetings are scheduled statewide through October 8. Everyone is encouraged to attend the Portland Metro area meeting:
Portland City Hall - Auditorium, 2nd Floor
Monday, September 27 at 6:30pm
