Sisters Of The Road organization premiered their "Empowered Voices Media Project" on Tues, July 27th. Short videos produced by Sisters Of The Road Café customers were screened at the event. Videos presented focused on the realities of living on the street including memories of friends now passed on, the challenges a lack of basic life necessities presents, and the frustrations of frequent interactions with law enforcement representatives.
